The General Assembly will be held from August
7th to 13th at the luxurious Sunset Jamaica Grande
Resort and Spa (SJG). This is an all-inclusive
resort, with the most modern meeting and accomodation
facilities. It is located in the heart of one
of our major tourist town, Ocho Rios, right next
on the beach.
As a GA delegate, you
will be a guest of the resort and will have access

Meeting Facilities
SJG has the largest meeting facilities in the
Jamaica, with more than 32,000 square feet of
floor space. For a detailed description of the

Accommodation
Satellite televisions, air
conditioning, private balconies, rattan furniture, cool
tile floors overlooking the sparkling Caribbean Sea
and Jamaica’s lush, green countryside...

the rooms at the SJG are just simply beautiful.

Computer Access
We are aiming for a 35 computer room. with 24-hour
Internet accees, as well as wireless Internet
access in most of the areas of the hotel. Printing,
photocopying and CD writing services will also
be available..
Medical Care
There will be a health post to handle minor medicial
situations at the GA hotel and for more serious
matters, the St. Ann's Bay Hosipital is 10km from
the SJG. The Ministry of Health has agreed to
assist with providing medical coverage of the
GA, in terms of ambulance services and on call
doctors for advice.
Cuisine
The Food committee is making arrangements, for
those with special food needs. For the rest of
you with no special preference the SJG has 5 classic
restaurants to choose from, each with a different
theme. Tantalize your taste buds with dishes from
Italian, Caribbean, Chinese, Asian and American
restaurants, when you feel like, however much
you feel like.
We know that many of you have
specific concerns when it comes to eating so we went
all out.
