The Pre-GA will be held from the 3rd to the 6th
of August, 2008 at the Mona
Campus of the prestigious University
of the West Indies (UWI). This University
has maintained a high standard of education for
60 years and has been the home to many important
research advancements and other contributions
to the field of medicine in the areas of nutrition,
sickle cell disease, diabetes and the HTLV-1 virus.The
OC already has firm endorsement from the UWI.
Pre-GA delegates will
be accommodated at the Rex Nettleford Hall of
Residence. This is the newest hall of residence
and with well manicured lawns and modern facilities
it is sure to keep delegates more than content.
While here, you will enjoy cost-free access to
a 25-computer lab with printing and photocopying
facilities, cost-free wireless internet, fully

Workshops will be held
in 7 multimedia equipped lecture rooms in the
Faculty
of Medical Sciences at the University Hospital
of the West Indies (UHWI) which is adjacent to
the University campus. Close to the lecture rooms
at the UHWI, there is the H D Hopwood Centre with
